Welcome to Primitive Paganism!

Hello everyone!

I would like to take a moment to personally thank each and every one of you for honoring me with your presence here! I truly look forward to meeting you and reading your posts.

There are a few things I'd like you to keep in mind. Please remember that I have inivted people of all ages to join the group. Therefore please do not post any pornography. That includes avatar pics. Unfortunately we have already had to ban 2 members for explicit avatar pics. Please keep avatars in good taste.

Also, no flaming, spamming or excessive cursing will be tolerated.

Please feel free to start new groups if you wish to discuss your favorite topic. However, before you do please check to see if there is already an existing group that covers your topic. Duplicate groups will be deleted. We don't need 3 groups all covering Tarot, or Astrology and so on.

Let's make this a place where people of all ages will feel comfortable, okay?

What am I? Eclectic, NA, Wiccan, a Witch ????

I gave myself a present for my birthday

Yep. I gave myself what I really wanted. The beginning of a wonderful new life. On my fiftieth birthday I left a bad situation in Florida and came to a beautiful place, a beautiful woman, and a fresh start for the second half of my life. Oh, I am not foolish enough to believe that everything will be smooth and easy. I don't do things that way. But, it will be several factors of 10 better than anything I have experienced before!

One Wedding, One Vacation, One Memorial

Dear Everyone
I had a terrific time at my cousin's wedding in Sugarbush VT. The weather was beautiful and so was the setting. The wedding took place near a red round barn down near a stream which emptied into a small pond. Ducks swam languidly in the pond as Elizabeth Von Trapp played and sang for the ceremony. There were too many blessings and it was too churchy for me but I had a good time seeing family and the band which played after the reception and dinner was fabulous.

The Corn Maiden gives us a gift for Autumn

The Corn Maiden. She shows up in many, many different "myths", texts, etc for many cultures. Some call her the Harvest Maiden, Corn Mother, Grain Woman, Old Women, etc, etc. She is a spirit of fertility for the fields (not just corn), that was (and still is, although disquised in our, already processed foods) a staple of food for many cultures. The past three months have been a roller coaster ride in many ways. First online college and self teaching myself college Algebra has been a crazy 16 week trip. Finished it though.
