Welcome to Primitive Paganism!

Hello everyone!

I would like to take a moment to personally thank each and every one of you for honoring me with your presence here! I truly look forward to meeting you and reading your posts.

There are a few things I'd like you to keep in mind. Please remember that I have inivted people of all ages to join the group. Therefore please do not post any pornography. That includes avatar pics. Unfortunately we have already had to ban 2 members for explicit avatar pics. Please keep avatars in good taste.

Also, no flaming, spamming or excessive cursing will be tolerated.

Please feel free to start new groups if you wish to discuss your favorite topic. However, before you do please check to see if there is already an existing group that covers your topic. Duplicate groups will be deleted. We don't need 3 groups all covering Tarot, or Astrology and so on.

Let's make this a place where people of all ages will feel comfortable, okay?

Love and Blessings,
Herne

Hi, just wanted to post this link. I have been very drawn to tarot lately, probably because of my shift to herb healing and magic, and I have been looking at The Herbal Tarot Deck for purchase. I bumped across (or was drawn) to this new YouTube user…

Christmas 2009

Dear Everyone
Despite being unable to celebrate Yule this year with my pagan boyfriend, Tony, I enjoyed Christmas very much with my parents. We went skiing on Thursday. The weather was warm and balmy and the conditions great even though it was man-made snow.
On Christmas day, we opened presents and then in the evening went to friends of the family for a nice dinner of stuffed hen and ham. We had veggies too of course. I played my acoustic guitar in the background while people chatted. I also par… Continue

My Take on "Primitive" Paganism

Paganism is perhaps the oldest religion on this planet. It started out with animism and pantheism. Animism and pantheism are concepts which seem to go along together, although they have subtle distinctions from each other. Pantheism is where the Supreme Being is in everything. Animism is where there is an animating spirit inhabiting each thing in nature. Trees, plants, animals, and even stones have spirits or souls.under this belief. This belief originated when primitive people observed steam ar… Continue

Ok I am going put this out to the Ningverse.

Ok I am going put this out to the Ningverse. And see what comes to me. Last time I put something out it was to as for a place to be. That failed. O was told not to do so in some places. Many telling of good thoughts. Sending of well wishes and luck, but in this day and age those are words that have little worth within the social structure. And can hardly be spend for the items we need. So in Virginia I am, with items in Ohio and the trailer in Michigan.
I have been a Renaissance Fare/Medieval Ar… Continue

What am I? Eclectic, NA, Wiccan, a Witch ????

I have had this topic bouncing around in my head for quite awhile, and need to purge it out, so this is the place for that :>)

I have had others ask me what my path is. I have heard about paths being discussed on pagan podcasts (there is some really great shows out there to listen too), and have seen thoughts about paths in videos, websites and books.

If someone ask, whom is on , say, a not so open minded type of path (usually one of the "big 3"), I say I do not follow a religious path, but… Continue
